The research interests are mainly focused on food safety control, environmental monitoring, drug and biological analysis based on immunoassays, including hapten design, preparation of polyclonal and monoclonal antibody, development and application of various immunoassays, development of test kits, preparation, characterization and application of bio-functional materials and novel sample pre-treatment.
(1). Development of various immunoassays such as enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy immunoassay (SERSIA), chemiluminescent immunoassay (CLIA), flow injection immunoassay (FIIA), immunosensor, colloidal gold immunochromatographic assay, immunoaffinity chromatography, etc.
(2). Application of immunoassays for the determination of pesticides, illeagal additives, veterinary drugs, mycotoxins, environmental contaminants, hormones, etc. in food, environmental and biological samples.
(3). Development of ELISA kits and colloidal gold dip stick kits.
(4). Preparation, characterization and application of bio-functional materials such as magnetic nanomaterials, quantum dots, colloidal nanoparticles, molecularly imprinted polymers.
(5). High efficient sample separation and enrichment such as immuno-affinity chromatography.
