2000年-2005年,丹麦哥本哈根大学生物学系(原：分子生物学研究所),从事深海微生物Hyperthermus butylicus、嗜酸嗜热模式生物Sulfolobus acidocaldaricus、共生菌Wolbachia,以及古菌新型病毒的基因组学和生物信息学的研究工作
