OBJECTIVE To establish a liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method for simultaneously determining the migration amounts of 24 organophosphate (OPEs), organophosphite antioxidants (OPAs), and parabens (PBs) in food contact materials. METHODS Migration experiments were conducted on the target food contact materials according to the types and methods of expected food contact, obtaining the immersion solution. After adding an internal standard to the immersion solution, liquid chromatography was used for separation, and tandem mass spectrometry was employed for determination, with quantification using the internal standard method. RESULTS The optimized method can simultaneously detect 24 organic phosphates, phosphites, and hydroxybenzoates in the migration immersion solutions of food contact materials, with a detection limit of 0.01~0.58 μg/L and a quantitation limit of 0.03~2.0 μg/L. The recovery rate of spiked samples ranged from 69.0%~129.6%, and the relative standard deviation was 0.5% to 10.9% (n=6). Twenty packaging film bags, ten disposable take-out boxes and 20 paper tableware items were tested. The ΣOPEs range was |
