      As an important food crop, corn has more and more influence on people's life, and the development of comprehensive utilization of corn and its nutritive value is getting more and more attention. This paper introduced the nutrition content and defect of maize, the application status of corn starch processed by-product protein powder, the research and development of corn protein, and the production process, properties and application of bioactive peptides. Using corn protein powder to develop high value-added corn bioactive peptide is one of the important ways to optimize the transformation and upgrading of corn starch processing enterprises. It has great significance to promote the economic benefit of the industry to promote scientific and technological progress.
