Food security is a serious issue in the world, which demands a convenient tool for quality control to check if the products are safe and genuine easily and immediately. The rapid development of internet and smart phones, and the successful application of infrared spectroscopy technology in food analysis, provide the possibility for such implementation. This article focused on the construction of an infrared (IR)-based molecules’ detection system for food security with an initial solution of tele or internet-communication program of smart phones, including the principle outlines, the system objectives, system processes between phone terminals and servers as well as the cloudy computation, and the current technique obstacles. |
